On the coming Monday, I will be posting a blog written about Wulf’s experiences at the ARC Fitness ‘Recovery in Motion’ Conference in Derry/Londonderry this week.
I wasn’t going to post anything today, but I just couldn’t resist posting a link to this amazing film, created by Adam Montgomery of River Flow Films, about the conference. It really captures the atmosphere at the event and each time I watch it I feel very emotional. Coldplay’s song ‘A Sky Full of Stars’ helps create the atmosphere. Here are words of thanks from Gary Rutherford, Founder of ARC Fitness, on his Facebook page—they are more extensive than those shown in the photo above:
‘What an incredible day at the Recovery in Motion Conference 2024!
We are grateful to everyone who attended and made this event such a huge success.
A massive thank you to our amazing guest speakers, including Paul Donelly, Kerry Anthony, Kevin Bailey, Lourda Geoghegan, Prof. Wulf Livingston, Stephen McLaughlin, and our very own Donna Roddy. Your insights and expertise were invaluable to everyone in attendance.
We’d also like to extend our thanks to Jamm Derry for supplying the catering that kept us all energised throughout the day and to Millennium Forum Theatre & Conference Centre for being such a fantastic host.
Special thanks to our generous sponsors, The National Lottery Community Fund Northern Ireland and Pennyburn Credit Union, for their support in making this event possible.
Together, we are stronger. Let’s continue to ‘Recover Together’!’
